About us
Happy Go Sailing is the dream of Gavin Orr, a long-time sailing enthusiast, to share the experience of sailing in some of the most beautiful locations possible in his native Scotland.
Gavin’s experience of sailing starts way back in the 1970s learning with family and RYA schools, through club sailing and Scottish Universities racing to teaching in the USA.
Latterly, a feeling that being out on the water is better than being in the house or the office has meant more and more time spent out paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing and sailing around Scotland’s lochs, rivers and coasts.
